Another in a long string of sunny weekends, and lots of work in the garden. What may've been Charlotte's 650th+ and final "victory gardens for all" effort last fall is beginning to bear 'fruit'! 18 heads of garlic, some already with whistles, a few weeks from picking while shooing the slugs away; kale, blood red beets, chard, choy, lettuce, onions, and parsley all nearing harvest, with new strawberry plants in a week ago.
